John C. Young

Principal areas of practice: Workers' Compensation & Workplace Torts Defense, Employment & Labor Law, Civil Litigation

John C. Young joins the firm's Workers' Compensation Defense practice group to counsel and defend self-insured employers on issues regarding risk management, workplace safety, return to work accommodation, and claim processing. He represents clients before administrative and regulatory agencies, as well as state and federal courts. Mr. Young has held positions with the Port of Portland; Cook County Circuit Court in Chicago; and Chicago Legal Clinic.

After graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in Economics, Mr. Young received his law degree from Willamette University College of Law. While there, he was a Moot Court Board Member and Willamette Sports Law Journal editor. Mr. Young joined the firm as a law clerk in 2007, and an associate in 2008.
